Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers, friends and people out there. This week was especially nice, even though the Hallmark related holiday was thrown in there. It was great to see people spreading a little extra love, even if it was only Valentine’s Day. Now I am here to shower you all with my favorites for the week. Metropole at the 21C

Metropole is now the restuarant inside the new 21C hotel here in Cincinnati. But the building everything resides in was once known as the Metropole.

21C is a new boutique hotel concept with a few other locations. We are privelaged enough to have one here. The before picture makes it look like it look dingy. Trust me, it was but it wasn’t. Right next to the Contemporary Arts Center, NADA, The Aronoff, and much more it is in the nice business/arts district of Downtown Cincinnati.  Back in the day, the Metropole was apparently the swanky place to be. Over time, it became run down, a crack den of sorts, and the not so best place to live. Like the spawling, revitalizing city we live in, it was turn around in this great hotel and great restaurant. We are food snobs and I have been begging Adam to make reservations and make a date night out of it. We celebrated our holiday on Wednesday and I couldn’t have been happier. The food was outstanding and we will be back.
